This young man has made a REMARKABLE improvement since we saw him last year. When we visited his village last June, Dr. Chad and I prayed over him for healing. He was in a dark room on a dirt floor stricken with illness and had been so for some time. We prayed and then we left, no noticeable change at that time.
Fast forward to today, we arrived at his village and he immediately came up to us and thanked us for taking the time we did last year for him. We almost didn’t recognize him because he is literally a new man! He recognized that God healed him and to see him today, so full of life and energy, is a testimony to the Father and His plan for this young mans life. He was in darkness and now he is in the light!
It was a beautiful reminder that God carries out His plans for all of our lives on His timing, not ours. It could have been easy to become discouraged last year that after praying there wasn’t a miraculous healing. But God knew the bigger story and reminded me that I need to let go of expectations and trust in His perfect will.
I am so thankful that our paths crossed again this year and we were given the chance to reconnect. 🙂
